Entirely in your browser. Projects and answers are stored in localStorage and uploaded documents in IndexedDB. Nothing is transmitted to us — there is no server to breach. The only outbound call is the one you explicitly trigger by sending a document to Anthropic for optional AI analysis.

We email a reminder two days before the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime during the trial in one click and pay nothing. No deal data leaves your machine during the trial, same as in production.
No. The app is fully functional without an API key — you answer manually and every number still computes. The AI lens (on Analyst and up) is an optional accelerator: it auto-fills evidenced answers from a deck, researches the web to verify facts with sources, briefs the jurisdiction's political and country risk, drafts the IC memo and answers questions about the project. You add your own key, billed by Anthropic directly.
On Analyst and up you can edit any question's text, importance weight and due-by gate, disable items, and add your own questions and workstreams. Deal-type profiles are on Desk and Enterprise, and Enterprise adds a shared house taxonomy across seats.
Per named user. Analyst is a single seat; Desk covers up to five; Enterprise is unlimited with SSO. Because storage is local, seats are about licensing and support, not a shared database.
